CRs with Rep. Davis
CRFV Executive Committee with Congressman Tom Davis at the University Kick-Off last week
My money says that Senator John Warner will announce he will not run for re-election in September and Rep. Davis and Gov. Gilmore will clash for the Republican nomination

Gilmore v Davis. Awesome. The battle to see who gets punished by Mark Warner.

Warner’s popularity is over hyped. Republicans have yet to attack his record and when they do his popularity will drop precipitously.
A large reason for Warner’s popularity is because Republicans, trying to gain position, validated his tax hikes when he was governor. The Republican moderates in Virginia felt this was an endorsement of Warner’s policies. Perhaps it was, but the Republican Party has since stood strong against Gov. Kaine’s tax increases and is once again in the position to attack the poor record of Warner as governor.

I’ve heard Rep. Davis has not supported the President’s plan to win this war.
Just what we need? A Republican who stands for nothing.

Keep whining about “tax increases” while Warner remains around 80% approval. This race is already over!
