M. Warner to Run for Senate

Mark Robert Warner will announce tomorrow that he will seek the Democratic nomination for Virginia’s open U.S. Senate seat. We at the CRFV would like to welcome the defeated 1996 Senate candidate back to the limelight. We will enjoy examining his record as governor.

To begin, HOW DO YOU LOSE $137 MILLION THAT WAS SUPPOSED TO GO TO EDUCATION!! More to come folks . . .
Republicans have a lot of work to do. We must begin by informing the public about M. Warner. For the first time in Warner’s political career he will have to run with his record as governor. This time the new face of Virginia’s Democratic Party will have to answer questions about his tax raising past.
Pundits are already ranking this race as one of the tightest in all of the nation. Early numbers show Warner with a lead over Gilmore and Davis. Republicans have a long road ahead.
A healthy discussion and debate over our GOP candidates will simultaneously occur. Republicans must remember to follow Ronald Reagan’s 80/20 rule after we have found a candidate. “My 80 percent ally is not my 20 percent enemy”. Whoever becomes the Republican nominee will be highly preferable to Mark “I bought my governorship” Warner. Don’t forget, M. Warner handed himself $4.7 million so he could become governor, and he will do it again.

I love this. I hope you guys focus ALL of your energies on Mark Warner, especially with these trite talking points on taxes and budgeting. Why do I endorse such a policy? Because your efforts will go nowhere! Warner will absolutely destroy Gilmore, Davis or Buchanan, no matter how much whining you guys do.

Keep up the good work!
