CRs Volunteer for Sen. Rerras

This past Saturday College Republicans from across Virginia traveled to Norfolk to volunteer for Senator Nick Rerras (R-6th). This race is a tight one due to simple demographics. Jim Webb unfortunately carried the district.

This is why College Republicans knocked on doors across Norfolk in support of Sen. Rerras. In a close race, the grassroots impact will be huge. The next statewide event is planned for the weekend of October 19th-2oth. Stay tuned for more information.

While spending time in Norfolk I also got a view of the race between Delegate Paula Miller (D-87th) and Republican challenger, Admiral Hank Giffen. Hank had yard signs in what seemed like one out of eight yards. For a challenger I would say he is well on his way to adding a new GOP delegate seat.

Northam is clearly a socialist-commie-hippie. Perhaps you guys (I do assume you’re all white males, correct?) should craft a bold, new strategy built entirely around how aroused Northam gets at the thought of a tax increase. After you beat that horse dead, well…uh…oh who am I kidding you guys never beat that horse dead!

I would prefer to run a campaign on what Sen. Rerras has accomplished. The constitutional amendment (SJ 354) that Rerras introduced and passed in the GA this year to create a 20% real estate tax exemption this year is one such item.
