Sorry Grozet, Tom is absolutely correct here. Have you read or at least skimmed over the 9/11 Commission report or, for that matter, what we’ve been hearing of our national intelligence estimates? It’s been known for quite some time that our policies inadvertently goaded the terrorists to attack.

The sooner the Republican Party base moves away from this neocon tosh, the better.

Steven, go look at the video Tom linked to. The end says it all.

I took a class on terrorism and found the U.S. support of Israel is manipulated by Middle Eastern governments to keep their governments together. So this is a factor for sure.

But is Israel the direct and only reason 9/11 occured? I think not, the video this Tom linked to believes so.
