I predict Romney will win. Thompson will be in third followed by McCain.

Well, we’ll see who’s right soon enough
. Thompson has almost no grassroots support in Iowa from what I’ve heard. Caucuses are notoriously hard to poll due to their nature (Edwards had 5%, pulled 32% of the vote).
Ron Paul has the grassroots support. As does Huckabee. As for Romney, we’ll have to see. I haven’t met many passionate Romney supporters.

I just read a story that Romney is in N.H. right now. So perhaps I will recant that he will overcome the Huckster.

Huckabee doesn’t have the organization to win against Romney. With a close race like this, the GOTV effort will make a pretty big difference. My predictions go like this:
1st - Mitt Romney
2nd - Mike Huckabee
3rd - John McCain
As to fourth place and on, I have no idea - nor do I really care. Fourth place is outside the medal spots, and anyone who doesn’t place in the top three will be hurt; whether they are hurt a lot or a little will be more interesting.
Good luck in New Hampshire!
