Reagan, this blog has two purposes. First, reporting about Virginia College Republicans. Second, featuring opinion by Virginia College Republicans. If you want to blog for us email us at crfvblog@gmail.com. This post fits our purposes and I will post other items of like interest who I don’t support.
Anonymous, the CR website went down due to the poor CRNC leadership from the last administration. The New CRNC under Charlie Smith will have new websites up soon. This blog reported this fact earlier and in an email to VA chapter chairmen.

Grozet actually you are incorrect. The fact that the state site went down had nothing to do with the CRNC. In fact it was Jarrett Ray who dropped the ball with the contract with the website developer. He did nothing to have the site ready for Bitely’s take over. Bitely has done nothing about it either since then. The CRNC site is a long term solution however the CRFV getting access to it down the line does not justify this pitifall blog acting as the CRFV site.

well Anonymous as much as you are a coward for not listing your real name, you are also woefully behind on the news.
The contract fell through literally over the period of less than a week with no time to act by any of the organizations who were using websites through this system.

I would not waste my time creating an account on this pathetic blog.
Your last comment does not justify Ray screwing up the contract, it mearly accounts for a temporary delay in creating a new one. There are free websites that can be used. Bitely needs to get atleast a temporary website before the one through the CRNC comes through.
Lastly I do not see your name at the end of every post.

Anonymous, I am not making libelous accusations so I don’t feel there is a credibility issue with revealing my name. Plus, if you were in a leadership position in CRs you would know who I am. But let me pander to your comments for a second. Let me begin by helping you define libel since you appear so uninformed. Libel is a legal term that means you are an uninformed troll who is presenting your opinion as fact when you really have no clue what you are speaking of.
I can explain the contract to you and whose contract it really is, but you just called my blog pathetic so all I have for you is a simple, shut up and move on. For those who want to see the original post where I discussed this issue. Check here: http://vacollegerepublicans.blogspot.com/2007/11/crfv-website-down.html
Finally, I have been around blogs enough to see bloggers get pissed and enforce registration for comments. This will not happen here, but please be respectful when you bring up your opinions.

Isn’t endorsing in a primary against the CRFV Constitution?

“No Officer shall, in his official capacity, endorse any candidate for the Republican
nomination prior to the Party primary or caucus”.
Key point here is in official capacity . . . duh. Any more redundant comments?

Grozet,
Not only are you mislead but also a two-face. You talk about respect in this pathetic blog but then use 1st grade terms such as “troll” and “shut up”
Your previous article tries to put the blame on the CRNC when infact Ray was the CRFV Chair. He could have found a temporary solution but failed to do so. Way to let the CRNC take the fall.
It seems however he did find the time to post video of himself getting “State Chair of the Year” (joke) and pictures of him with Gilmore.
imagine that.

As someone who who knows Jarrett personally, and who witnessed the website issue unfold, let me just say that he wasn’t at fault. The contract was out of his hands, since the site was run as a branch of the CRNC. The actual contract was between the provider and the CRNC; since neither of these people were or are Jarrett Ray, it couldn’t have been his fault.
Yes he could have gone and found a cheap alternative for an interim website, but why? With the CRNC negotiating a new contract, why settle for an inferior, temporary alternative?
The fact is that it was the CRNC who offered a contract to the CRFV and its affiliates to provide websites. Due to incompetence, the contract between the CRNC and the web provider broke down rapidly, resulting in the unavoidable loss of the CRFV’s website. There is a new contract and a new website will be up shortly. Please try to be a little more informed and a little less vindictive in the future.

Grozet you have clearly given up as you should on this blog and in life.
archimedes stop dictating rules of the blog as if it is ur own. You are pompous and obtuse.
Getting back to the issue. Several other state CR groups found solutions. For example check out the Tennessee and Kansas State CR sites. If Ray gets State Chair of the year he should have had found a fix.

Rules?? What rules?? Oh and if you didn’t notice, I’m one of the founding members of this blog, so yeah, it kinda IS mine.
And as I have already pointed out, there were alternatives Ray could have found, but none were better than continuing our relationship with the CRNC, even if that required a little patience on our part.

So you founded a crappy blog. im glad this is your one calling in life. How sad.
Im glad you atleast recognize Ray could have had alternatives which Grozet does not.
As far as the continued relationship with the CRNC, they really do very little to help out the CRFV. It is mostly comprised of a bunch of resumee builders.
Secondly, Making a new website would not hurt the relationship with the CRNC, mearly helping the CRFV. There can always be a switch to the CRNC site when it becomes available.
I consider this discussion closed and it need no further 1/2 ass responses by either Grozet (clown) or Archimedes (no life)
