The Summer of Brotherly Love continues.  The One has come to The Fatherland.  The seas are receding.  Walls are crumbling.  How do we know?  The One has told us.  Sadly, He has decided not to bring His powers of healing and hope to those who need it most, American troops recovering, and in some cases still suffering, at Landstuhl.  Saying it would have been “inappropriate” to visit wounded servicemembers on a campaign trip, Obama canceled plans to pay our wounded warriors a visit.

Funny, The One also said that he came today not as a candidate, but as a “fellow citizen of the world.”  Since he isn’t running for World President, I wonder exactly what he’s talking about.  I know he considers himself to be a gift to us, that we are blessed and should be thankful that he has chosen to bestow upon us the benefits of his multitude of world-changing gifts.  But is it too much to ask for him to come down off his pedestal long enough to visit and maybe even thank the people who have bled and suffered to make his ascendance possible?  Can he be that arrogant?  Can he be that self-absorbed?  Can he be that narcissistic?  Apparently, he can.
